Moore Colson, an award-winning accounting, consulting, and advisory firm in Atlanta, recently announced the addition of Stacey Martin, CPA, as a senior manager in Moore Colson’s Tax Services Practice. Martin brings over 10 years of experience advising large public and private business clients on complex tax matters.
After starting her career at PwC in 2011, Martin joined KPMG’s business tax services team in 2014. Martin has diverse experience through tax roles on compliance, provision, audit and M&A engagements across a wide range of industries, including professional sports, farm science, insurance, transaction processing, conferencing, and television and magazine production. She led a variety of engagements, including a large Fortune 200 company’s Federal and State income tax compliance process managing a team of over 30 tax professionals across service lines and geographies. Martin has transaction experience with business combinations from international and domestic perspectives, as well as carve-out financial statements. In addition to client service roles, Martin was an active small group leader for KPMG’s Network of Women, co-chaired the Atlanta Office’s Employee Council, was named to the Southeast Go-to-Market Team, served as the local office tax technology assistant and was actively involved in recruiting efforts.
At Moore Colson, Martin will provide clients with strategic consulting on tax compliance and assistance executing tax planning for large firms in a variety of industries, including retail and manufacturing. Martin earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida and a Master of Taxation from Georgia State University. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Georgia.
