Envisioning More For Ourselves and Our Clients
The key to our growth from a small business to one of the largest independent accounting firms in the United States? Our culture. With your growth as our mission and our team as our strength, we’re committed to going further to serve our clients and our employees.
We lead with integrity and trust in every client relationship, and we look for these character traits in our employees, too. With these core values, we empower our team to do the right thing even when it may not be popular and consistently fulfill our client commitments because our word is our bond.
Our client-centered approach means we’re partners committed to helping our clients succeed, but it’s more than that. It’s drawing on our team members’ deep skill sets to help build financial security for our clients and their businesses. It’s knowing our clients’ expectations and then exceeding them. It’s having a servant’s heart, treating clients’ problems as if they’re our own and going above and beyond to help them achieve their goals.
We don’t just work well together, we like each other, too. Our non-book-of-business model promotes teamwork and our culture helps develop strong bonds, two things critical to our success. When everyone works toward a common goal, we can achieve great things together.
Moore Colson started as a consulting firm, and 40 years later, we still lead with a consultative approach. We believe that great accountants are outstanding advisors with an entrepreneurial spirit, and our corporate model makes it easy for our clients to access our expertise across varied service areas and industry niches.

The Work Environment Committee
To build a better workplace for everyone, the Work Environment (WE) Committee gives our employees a seat at the Moore Colson executive table. Team members from each department meet with our executive team every month to discuss issues and ideas that help move the firm forward.
The GROW™ Women's Initiative
Founded by Partner Elizabeth Miller and led by Partner Marcia Nally, the GROW™ Initiative aims to empower Women through Growth, Resources and Opportunities.
We care about our clients’ success, and we also care about the community we serve. Each year, our employees spend countless hours contributing to meaningful service projects that benefit the communities around us. There are also several local organizations our staff and partners support through board representation, volunteering their time to create a lasting impact.
Giving back has always been at the core of who we are as a firm, and in 2021, we celebrated our 40th anniversary with the “Thinking forward. Giving back.” campaign. We held several service days throughout the year, highlighting our commitment to supporting our local Atlanta community.
Atlanta Community Food Bank
We spent time helping people across Metro Atlanta and North Georgia who are experiencing food insecurity. Moore Colson team members sorted and packed food donations to support distribution efforts.
Habitat for Humanity
A community member needed help, and we stepped up. Our team painted the interior and exterior of a house, helping to create a space for Rachel Coates and her two children to call home.
Eagle Ranch
Our team worked on landscape restoration for the equine therapy area, girls’ homes and the ranch’s main entrance, enhancing the beauty of the grounds for the children who live there.
