Burton joined Moore Colson as a tax senior manager in 2019 and was promoted to director in 2023. With more than 16 years of experience, Burton's background includes working with clients in the private equity and real estate industries, spanning the residential, industrial and commercial real estate sectors. At Moore Colson, she focuses on tax compliance and planning for real estate funds and managers. Her extensive experience includes tax structuring and compliance for REITs and navigating complex partnership tax issues.
Burton holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Louisville and a Master of Science in Taxation from Georgia State University. She is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Black Accountants.
