The Atlanta Business Chronicle compiles the Metro Atlanta’s Largest Employers list by ranking businesses, nonprofits and governmental organizations by full-time employee headcount in the metro Atlanta area. Collectively, the organizations on the list employ more than 600,000 people locally. Information for the list was obtained through Atlanta Business Chronicle research or supplied directly by employers via questionnaires.
