Moore Colson Announces the Hiring of Six New Managers

Moore Colson recently announced the hiring of six new managers.

Justin Hudson joined Moore Colson in November as a tax manager with over four years of progressive tax experience in a Big Four firm and with advanced knowledge of due diligence related to acquisitions and divesting. Justin, CPA, has a Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting, and a Master of Accountancy, Taxation, from the University of Georgia.

Joel Alzola joined Moore Colson in November as a business assurance senior manager with over ten years of accounting and financial statement auditing experience, including Big Four experience, with advanced knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), employee benefit plans and Sarbanes-Oxley engagements. Joel, CPA, has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Financial Management from Oglethorpe University.

Brandon Valentine joined Moore Colson in November as a business assurance manager with over six years of auditing and accounting experience, with advanced knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Brandon, CPA, has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accounting from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN.

James Caylor joined Moore Colson in October as a business assurance senior manager with over 30 years of progressive accounting, consulting, and audit experience, including Big Four experience. James has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, is a CPA licensed in Georgia, Florida, and Pennsylvania, and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) practitioner.

Amber Ellingson joined Moore Colson in October as a corporate accounting senior manager. Amber has over 17 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience. Amber, CPA, received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Accounting from Kennesaw State University and her master’s in Business Administration from Georgia State University.

David Knorr joined Moore Colson in October as a tax manager with 8 years of advanced tax experience, including Big Four experience. David, CPA, graduated cum laude from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, GA, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
