Jason Birmingham, CPA, is a Partner in Moore Colson’s Transaction Advisory Practice Area. Jason has more than 30 years of experience providing transaction-related due diligence and assurance services in the construction, distribution, manufacturing, professional services and transportation industries.
Jason has worked with strategic clients, PEGS and banks, providing due diligence services including quality of earnings analysis, evaluation of working capital trends, cash flow projections, and assistance with post-acquisition transition, integration and support.
He has performed quality of earnings analyses on more than 250 potential targets with revenues ranging from $1 million to $500 million. Jason assists buyers in understanding the financial risks associated with the target, reviewing acquisition purchase agreements, assessing final working capital amounts and opening balance sheet accounting. He also helps companies prepare cash flow projections and advises them on various business issues.
Jason also has extensive experience working in the firm’s Assurance Practice Area, providing comprehensive, independent assurance services that add value to client businesses. By partnering with and getting to know the client’s unique needs, Jason is able to provide an assessment of the past and a strategy for the future. Jason joined Moore Colson in 1988.
