Christopher D. Fagan
Christopher D. Fagan, CPA, is a Moore Colson Partner and the Transaction Advisory Practice Area Leader. He has more than 20 years of experience advising on private equity platforms and add-on investments and works closely with founder-owned businesses to navigate exits and ownership transitions. Christopher provides clients with strategic planning, operational assessments and quality of earnings analyses for buyers, sellers and lenders. He also works to help execute growth initiatives for the Transaction Advisory Practice Area.

Christopher is also the Leader of Moore Colson’s Distribution and Manufacturing Industry Group. He previously collaborated with other banking, legal and insurance organizations to start the Industrial Leadership Council. This networking group focused on providing informative speakers and content to executives in the distribution and manufacturing industries. He also has extensive experience working with private equity funds and their portfolio holdings. He has three years of industry experience working in accounting departments for large healthcare organizations.
Christopher has established himself as a recognized thought leader within the M&A community and has been a featured speaker and quoted expert for numerous organizations and media outlets, including the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Business Journals, Cobb Business Journal and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has also appeared on live television broadcasts to discuss economic trends and their impact on Georgia’s economy, providing insights on market conditions, industry performance, employment trends and the broader economic outlook. He frequently presents on the challenges founders face when preparing to exit their businesses, with a particular focus on the operational, financial and strategic levers that can enhance valuation and improve marketability.
In recognition of his expertise and standing within the profession, Christopher served as a judge for the 24th Annual M&A Advisor Awards in 2025 and the 2026 Emerging Leaders in M&A Awards. His practical, experience-driven insights have made him a trusted resource for business owners, investors and advisors alike.
