Moore Colson Named a 2026 Top 50 Construction Accounting Firm™ in the U.S.

October 7, 2026

ATLANTA, GEORGIA

Moore Colson, an award-winning accounting and advisory firm in Atlanta, has been recognized by Construction Executive (CE) as one of the 2026 Top 50 Construction Accounting Firms™ in the United States. The firm ranked 31st on this year’s list, climbing eight spots from 39th in 2025.

Now in its 24th year of publication, CE is the leading trade magazine about the business of construction. CE published its annual ranking in the September/October 2026 issue. To build the list, CE surveyed hundreds of U.S. accounting firms with a construction practice. Data collected included: 1) 2025 revenues from the firm’s construction practice; 2) number of CPAs in that practice; 3) percentage of total firm revenues derived from construction; 4) number of states in which the firm is licensed to practice; 5) year the practice was established; and 6) number of AEC clients served during fiscal year 2025. An algorithm then weighted these factors in descending order of importance.

Founded in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1981, Moore Colson established its construction industry group in 1998. Today, the group includes 31 CPAs and eight partners. The team serves more than 700 construction companies, from general and specialty contractors to home builders and manufacturers. Its leaders help clients manage cash flow, analyze job costs and plan for succession, positioning them for long-term growth.

“This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to the construction industry,” said Moore Colson Partner and Construction Industry Leader Adam Bateman. “We put our clients first, serve as trusted advisors and deliver industry-specific expertise.”
