Moore Colson Announces the Hiring of Three Directors

Moore Colson, an award-winning accounting, consulting and advisory firm in Atlanta, recently hired Katie Deutschler, CPA, as a business assurance director, Shay Eubanks, CPA, as a tax director and Richard B. McCoy, CPA, as a tax director.
Deutschler joins Moore Colson with more than 13 years of experience serving large public, privately held, emerging growth and private-equity-owned companies. Before Moore Colson, she was an audit and assurance senior manager at Deloitte & Touche, LLP, where she led and managed multiple large-scale, complex audit engagements. At Moore Colson, her responsibilities will include planning and overseeing financial statement audits and reviews for manufacturing, distribution and transportation companies. Deutschler received a Bachelor of Science in Management, specializing in Accounting, from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Eubanks joins Moore Colson with more than 29 years of experience serving clients in the manufacturing, distribution, retail, hospitality and technology industries. Before Moore Colson, he was a tax director for a top 50 accounting firm in Atlanta. He was responsible for delivering tax services, including tax compliance, tax provision, tax consulting and due diligence services to publicly traded and privately held companies. At Moore Colson, his responsibilities will include planning and organizing client engagements, developing client tax strategies, providing tax consulting solutions to clients, developing and mentoring staff, and monitoring firm performance goals. Eubanks received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Mississippi University for Women and a Master of Accountancy in Taxation from the University of Memphis.
McCoy joins Moore Colson with more than ten years of experience serving clients in the manufacturing, distribution, real estate and healthcare industries, including closely held businesses and family offices. Before Moore Colson, he was a senior tax manager for a top 25 accounting firm in Atlanta. McCoy led the tax team and provided the final technical review of Subchapter S, multi-state consolidations, C corporations, partnerships and high-net-worth individuals. At Moore Colson, his responsibilities will include planning and organizing client engagements, developing client tax strategies, providing tax consulting and projections, developing and mentoring staff, and monitoring firm performance goals. McCoy received a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Auburn University.
