Castagnacci brings more than 17 years of experience in public accounting, specializing in the manufacturing, distribution and technology industries. At Moore Colson, he will plan and oversee financial statement audit and review engagements, lead teams across multiple engagements and manage staff members while enabling the firm's continued growth.
Before joining Moore Colson, Castagnacci spent more than 10 years at BDO USA, where he managed multi-location integrated audits across a range of industries and reviewed SEC filings, including forms 10-K, 10-Q and S-1. He has led GAAS and PCAOB audits, including integrated audits with internal controls over financial reporting, and worked closely with clients on complex technical accounting matters, including business combinations, debt and equity transactions, and SPAC/IPO transactions.
Castagnacci earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA).
