Moore Colson, the number one ranked Best of the Best CPA and advisory firm in the United States by Inside Public Accounting, recently announced the hiring of Tyler Wright, CPA, ABV, CFF, CFE, as consulting senior manager.
Wright joins Moore Colson with over 13 years of progressive forensic accounting, fraud investigation and legal dispute experience. Wright began his career with KPMG LLP in Atlanta, GA, where he progressed from an intern to a senior associate within the Forensic and Audit Practices. In this role, Tyler was responsible for conducting investigations into allegations of fraud, bribery and corruption, and disputed financial reporting. Wright also served as forensic senior manager at IAG Forensics & Valuation, a CPA firm in Atlanta where he was responsible for analyzing financial statements and communications, investigating embezzlement and conflicts of interest, analyzing operations and internal controls, and implementing strategies to mitigate fraud, waste, and abuse.
Wright held similar roles with Acuitas, Aprio and The Coca-Cola Company where he conducted fraud and misconduct investigations as well as supported counsel in numerous legal suits for public and private clients in the healthcare, manufacturing, oil and gas, shipbuilding, equipment sales, automotive, real estate, and consumer products industries. At Moore Colson, Wright’s responsibilities will include helping lead the Consulting Practice and its engagements, nurturing client relationships, providing consultative advice, and driving continued efficiencies while enabling the firm’s continued growth.
Wright received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Accounting and his master’s degree in Accountancy, both with honors, from the University of Georgia. Wright is a board member of the Georgia Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and a junior board member of the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation. He is also a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA).
