Moore Colson, the number one ranked Best of the Best CPA and advisory firm in the United States by Inside Public Accounting, recently announced Partner Chris Tierney has been accepted into the Forbes Finance Council, an invitation-only community for executives in accounting, financial planning, wealth and asset management and investment firms. Tierney joins other Forbes Finance Council members, who are hand-selected, to become part of a curated network of successful peers who submit thought leadership articles on industry-related topics for publishing on Forbes.com.
Tierney has over 30 years of experience in providing financial, operational and strategic management and advice to domestic and international companies and their stakeholders. He has extensive experience providing litigation support services, implementing fraud and forensic investigations as well as providing expert and consulting witness testimony on a broad range of topics. Tierney, who is frequently appointed by State and Federal courts as a Trustee, Receiver, and Examiner, is a Registered Neutral with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution providing mediation and arbitration services on civil matters for companies and individuals. A Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Tierney has a Bachelor of Art from Colby College and an MBA from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business. Tierney has been a featured speaker, author and quoted expert for many organizations, including the Association for Corporate Growth, American Bankruptcy Institute, Georgia Bar Association, National Association of Credit Managers, Turnaround Management Association, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Atlanta Business Chronicle, and Fox News.
