Moore Colson, the number one ranked Best of the Best CPA and Advisory firm in the United States by Inside Public Accounting, recently welcomed Justin Hudson as its newest tax manager.
Hudson joins Moore Colson with over four years of progressive tax experience and advanced knowledge of due diligence related to acquisitions and divesting. Prior to Moore Colson, Hudson served as an international tax consultant and was later promoted to international tax senior to assist and manage international compliance and consulting engagements. In that role, his main focus included private equity funds within the cross-border real estate, infrastructure, and securities industries, in addition to real estate investment trusts (REITs), alternative investment vehicles, and partnerships. Hudson’s most recent role was at Ernst & Young as a tax senior where he worked on buy-side tax due diligence engagements related to acquisitions by private equity investors and strategic buyers in addition to sell-side tax due diligence engagements.
Hudson, CPA, has a Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting, and a Master of Accountancy, Taxation, from the University of Georgia. At Moore Colson, Hudson’s responsibilities will include reviewing and preparing tax returns of varying complexities, providing tax consulting and projections while developing and mentoring staff members.
