Moore Colson, the number one ranked Best of the Best CPA and Advisory firm in the United States by Inside Public Accounting, announced Partner Bret Roy will moderate The Business of Beverages – Growth in the Georgia Market panel event hosted by the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) in Atlanta on Thursday, January 11th, from 5:30 to 8:00 pm ET at the City Club of Buckhead, Atlanta Financial Center.
ACG was founded in 1954 and has chapters worldwide representing 14,500 members with a mission to drive middle-market growth. ACG Atlanta’s membership is composed of over 700 individuals in decision-making positions who have personal and professional interest in corporate growth, including organic growth, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, licensing arrangements, or in the provision of services facilitating such activities.
The event will feature a panel discussion on the growth of the adult beverage industry in Georgia in addition to the impact of the new 2018 tax bill on brewers and distillers. The esteemed panel will include representation from key players in the beverage industry in Atlanta including ASW Distillery, Orpheus Brewing Company, Republic National Distributing Company, and Ironmonger Brewing.
The event’s moderator, Bret Roy, joined Moore Colson in 2005 and has more than 30 years accounting and management consulting experience with extensive background in corporate finance, value growth management, long-range strategic planning, and near-term tactical project implementation. Roy, a CPA, has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Louisiana State University and a Master of Business Administration from Tulane University. Roy is a member of ACG, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants.
