Moore Colson, an award-winning accounting, consulting and advisory firm in Atlanta, recently announced the promotions of Geoff Braun, CPA, Journet Greene, CISA, and Hudson Ireland, CPA, to partner and the promotion of Brunella Reid to chief marketing officer.
Braun joined Moore Colson in 2018 as a business assurance director. He specializes in the distribution, manufacturing and transportation industries, where he assists clients with audit and assurance services and plans and oversees financial statement audits. His extensive experience also includes serving clients in the technology, healthcare, pharmaceutical, private equity and broker-dealer industries. Braun has a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Georgia. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Greene started her career with Moore Colson in 2018 as a risk advisory and compliance services senior manager. She leads the firm’s Systems and Organization Controls (SOC) attestations, and assists in overseeing the firm’s IT engagements, including internal audits, Sarbanes-Oxley initiatives and other compliance engagements. Her professional background includes auditing various aspects of information technologies for public and large private clients, business process reviews, and ERP implementation reviews. Greene has a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from The University of Alabama. She is a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association.
Ireland joined Moore Colson in 2016 as a business assurance senior manager. He specializes in the real estate, financial services and staffing industries, where he assists clients with audit and assurance services and plans and oversees financial statement audits and reviews. His experience includes managing employee benefit plan audits and Sarbanes-Oxley implementation and compliance for public companies. Ireland has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Tennessee. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Urban Land Institute of Atlanta.
Reid started her career with Moore Colson in 2017 as the director of marketing. She specializes in elevating brands and modernizing the marketing function at the corporate level. Her professional experience includes defining marketing strategies, developing content frameworks and strengthening companies’ social media presence with a focus on the financial services, healthcare, and international trade and logistics industries. Reid has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the College of Charleston and a Master of Business Administration from The Citadel. She is a member of the American Marketing Association, the College of Charleston Atlanta Alumni Association and the Public Relations Society of America. Reid also serves on the board of directors for the Association of Accounting Marketing and is the chair of the PrimeGlobal Marketing Group.
