Moore Colson, an award-winning accounting, consulting and advisory firm in Atlanta, recently announced the addition of Karen Drilling, CISA, as a senior manager in Moore Colson’s Risk Advisory and Compliance Services Practice. Drilling brings over 16 years of experience helping clients with internal controls and audits.
At Moore Colson, Drilling will work with public and large private company clients in various industries, including financial services and technology, to provide IT risk assessments, internal controls audits, cybersecurity services and SOC examinations.
Before joining Moore Colson, she served as the IT Audit Manager for Eliassen Group and Independent Consulting, where she managed and led IT-integrated audit efforts for clients. Drilling also worked as a Senior Manager of IT Advisory Services at EY. In this role, she managed SOC examinations and performed IT risk assessments for Fortune 500 clients. Drilling also has extensive experience performing financial statement audits and employee benefit plan audits.
Drilling earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Georgia and a Master of Business Administration from Auburn University. She is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).
