Atlanta, Georgia (September, 2016) – Atlanta-based accounting firm, Moore Colson recently announced that Josh Thomas, CPA, CFA, was admitted as a Partner in Moore Colson’s Consulting Practice. Moore Colson, founded in 1981, is a full-service accounting and advisory firm located in Atlanta, Georgia providing tax planning and compliance, assurance, transaction services, special services, strategic and succession planning, lender advisory services, IT audit and consulting services, and corporate accounting services.
Josh Thomas offers Moore Colson 12 years of accounting and transaction services experience. He has assisted both financial and strategic clients in domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, and performed financial due diligence for over 90 potential acquisitions with revenues ranging from $4 million to over $3 billion. Josh has also worked on sell-side engagements, preparing carve-out financial statements, writing vendor due diligence reports and performing sell-side assistance. Josh has broad industry experience which includes: manufacturing, distribution, software, services, and retail. Additionally, Josh has worked on numerous cross border transactions in Germany, Finland, Sweden and Brazil.
Prior to joining Moore Colson in 2016, Josh was Director of Merger & Acquisition Services at Habif, Arogeti & Wynne, LLP. Prior to joining HA&W, Josh worked for KPMG, LLP as Senior Associate and Manager, and was a member of the Transaction Services group from May 2007 through March 2011.
Josh attended the University of North Carolina and received a Masters of Accounting, and Vanderbilt University where he received a B.A. in Economics. Josh is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
