Moore Colson, an award-winning accounting, consulting and advisory firm in Atlanta, recently announced the addition of Brit Lanier, CPA, as a partner in Moore Colson’s Transaction Advisory Services Practice Area.
Lanier brings more than ten years of experience in financial due diligence, modeling and analysis. At Moore Colson, he will consult with strategic and private equity clients on all aspects of accounting and financial matters for buy- and sell-side transactions and assist clients throughout the transaction life cycle, from pre-deal analysis through post-transaction integration and evaluation.
Before joining Moore Colson in 2023, Lanier worked as a director in the Global Transaction Advisory Group at Alvarez & Marsal, where he led buy- and sell-side due diligence engagements for private equity clients, focusing on the communications, infrastructure, manufacturing and renewable energy industries. Before that, he worked as a strategy and transactions manager with Ernst & Young. Lanier also worked at Hein & Associates as a transaction advisory services associate and Kessler Energy as an equity research analyst, building detailed financial models for upstream oil and gas investors.
Lanier earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Accounting in Forensic Accounting from Georgia Southern University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA) and on the Young Alumni Board of the Georgia Southern University Parker College of Business.
