Moore Colson, an award-winning accounting, consulting and advisory firm in Atlanta, recently announced Manager Rachel (Elphick) Kinzer, CPA/CFF, CFE, as a 2022 National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA) 30 Under 30 Honoree.
NACVA honored 30 professionals under 30 who work in business valuation, financial litigation or a related profession and embody the drive, motivation and courage needed to be part of the next generation of industry mavericks. NACVA looks for those individuals who have made extraordinary advances to the profession and are experts in business valuation and appraisal, financial forensics, litigation consulting, expert witness, mergers and acquisitions, exit planning, or healthcare valuation and consulting. Kinzer is the only professional from Georgia to be honored for 2022.
Kinzer is a manager in Moore Colson’s Consulting Practice. She has six years of forensic accounting, auditing and small business accounting experience, including a wide range of financial analysis and data modeling skills. She also has experience with data query languages, data visualization and the Visual Basic Application programming language. At Moore Colson, Kinzer assists with litigation support engagements, receiverships, bankruptcies and internal control risk assessment consulting. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from North Greenville University. Kinzer is an active member of the Forensic and Valuations Services section of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Georgia Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the American Bankruptcy Institute. In 2023, Rachel was accepted by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants to be a representative for the CFF Champions Group, where she assists with promoting awareness of forensic accounting education. Further, Rachel serves as the Secretary to the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants Business Valuation and Litigation Support Services Committee.
