Moore Colson, an award-winning accounting, consulting and advisory firm in Atlanta, recently hired Jimmy Lee, CPA, as a corporate accounting senior manager and Tanya Mathis, CIA, CISA, CDPSE, as a risk advisory and compliance services senior manager.
Lee joins Moore Colson with more than 14 years of experience serving public and large private businesses and high-net-worth individuals within the healthcare, real estate, retail and technology industries. Before Moore Colson, he served as a senior manager at a top 100 accounting firm in the United States. Lee was responsible for evaluating new technologies, establishing AI accounting services, implementing accounting systems and consulting with clients on accounting best practices, technologies and process improvements. At Moore Colson, his responsibilities will include coordinating corporate accounting and accounting process consulting services, suggesting and implementing accounting software, managing work progress, and supervising staff. Lee received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Georgia.
Mathis joins Moore Colson with more than 16 years of experience in internal controls and audits. Before Moore Colson, she served as Equifax’s enterprise risk and compliance testing leader. Mathis developed and facilitated the execution of its annual testing plan, including regulatory compliance, operational risk, and IT and cyber control testing. At Moore Colson, she will focus on first-year SOX clients and business-as-usual (BAU) IT audit engagements. Mathis received a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems from Alabama State University.
