- The Georgia Dept. of Revenue has issued guidance related to the manufacturing, distribution, selling, handling, dealing in, and possession of ice cream, frozen yogurt, popsicles and other frozen consumables that contain alcohol. If a frozen consumable contains any measurable amount of ethyl alcohol, it will be regulated by the department. Any individual or entity that creates malt beverages, wine, or distilled spirits to be used in the creation of frozen consumables will be regulated as a manufacturer. - The Georgia Dept. of Revenue (DOR) has issued guidelines that allow political subdivisions (counties, municipalities and consolidated governments) in GA to obtain a list of vendors who filed sales and use tax returns in their jurisdictions. The vendor report may be requested once a year for a $50 fee by emailing an official resolution to the DOR. The resolution must contain certain information about a designated official, who must be a finance officer or taxing official of the subdivision. Learn more here: https://bit.ly/2WZGQgx
