Atlanta, Georgia (November, 2013) – Atlanta-based accounting firm, Moore Colson, recently announced the hiring of Don V. Bryant, CPA, as a Senior Manager in the firm’s Business Assurance Practice. Moore Colson, founded in 1981, is a full-service accounting and consulting

Don joins Moore Colson with over a decade of professional experience including an in-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Don’s primary responsibility with Moore Colson is to plan, execute, and oversee audits in the firm’s real estate practice group. Don has extensive experience with real estate owners, developers, syndicators and operators of all types of assets, including office buildings, retail shopping centers, multifamily housing, hotels, nursing homes and assisted living facilities. His services include property and fund level audits, cost certifications, net operating income and debt service analysis, HUD compliance, cash flow analysis/modeling, CAM charge reviews and purchase due diligence work.
Prior to joining Moore Colson, Don was a Senior Audit Manager at AGH, LLC and CohnReznick (formerly Reznick Group). In his roles, Don was responsible for directly supervising/mentoring a team of up to 15 personnel. Don was actively involved with developing training and internal audit programs for his audit practice groups. His open communication style and hands on approach have built strong, trusted relationships with his internal and external clients.
Don also held positions at Gilman Ciacia, Inc. Clearwater, Florida as a Tax Manager / Investment Advisor, and KPMG, LLP, Tampa, Florida as an Audit Associate.
Don received a Master of Accounting, and a B.S. in Business Administration from Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama. Don is a Certified Public Accountant and also a member of Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, Florida Society of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the AICPA, and Toastmasters International. Don was a member of the Varsity Tennis Team at Auburn University from 1993-1997.
