Atlanta, Georgia (August, 2014) – Atlanta-based accounting firm, Moore Colson, recently announced the hiring of Stacy-Ann (Stacy) Joseph as a Senior Associate in the firm’s Risk Advisory & Compliance Services Practice (RACS). Moore Colson, founded in 1981, is a full-service accounting and consulting firm located in Atlanta, Georgia providing tax, assurance, management consulting, estate and financial planning, lender advisory services, IT audit consulting services, and corporate accounting services.
Stacy joins Moore Colson with over 6 years experience in compliance and risk management, auditing and controls, audit issue management, policies and standards, and information security controls. In her new role as Senior Associate with Moore Colson, Stacy will be responsible for IT Audits, including: Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and Service Organization Control (SOC), and IT Risk Assessments.
Prior to joining Moore Colson, Stacy worked for Elavon (a US Bank Company) in Atlanta, GA as a Team Lead for Audits and Issue Management in the Risk & Controls Department. In this role, she performed IT audits on all business lines to assess compliance for SOX, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) and other regulations. She also analyzed and developed risk assessments and remediation recommendations for business lines.
Stacy held similar positions with Builders Insurance Group, Atlanta GA, MLB Associates (AIG outsourced company), Atlanta GA, and Ernst & Young, Boston MA.
Stacy has a Masters in Business Administration from Strayer University and a B.A. in Business Administration (Concentration in Accounting) from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst MA.
