Atlanta, Georgia (February, 2014) – Atlanta-based accounting Firm, Moore Colson, recently announced that Bert Mills has been elected Managing Partner of the Firm. Robert Kiser (Bob), former Managing Partner since 2009, will remain a partner and continue to serve the Firm, his clients, and advise the partner group.
Bert Mills joined Moore Colson in 1991, and has excelled in growing the Firm, both financially as well as intellectually, over the past 23 years. Named Partner-in-Charge of Moore Colson’s Tax Practice in 1993, Bert has since built an exceptional team of professionals during his tenure with the Firm.

One of Bert’s main objectives as the new leader of the Firm is to further evolve the Firm by retaining and attracting the best professionals for our clients, which includes plans for a renewed focus on providing exceptional client service by offering unique solutions and ideas that provide better value to our clients, their owners and leaders. Formerly Moore Colson’s Tax Practice Leader, Bert has been an integral part of the development of the Firm, not only on the tax front, but across the board. As a member of the Executive Committee, Bert helped drive the effort to establish the Firm’s successful Rainmaker initiative, and the program’s achievements can easily be measured by the growth in both employees as well as new clients. Also part of the Rainmaker program, Bert helped direct the realignment and development of our industry niches, and plays a major role in developing and identifying new partners for the Firm. In addition to creating, coordinating and leading numerous seminars, he has represented the Firm and its professionalism through numerous teaching and speaking engagements throughout Atlanta and the Southeast.
Bert will remain an important Firm representative and leader within PrimeGlobal, one of the largest associations of accounting Firms in the world, having served on various leadership teams and as chairman of the 2013 Southeast Regional Conference.
