Moore Colson, an award-winning accounting, consulting and advisory firm in Atlanta, recently announced the addition of Chris Fields as a Partner in Moore Colson’s Corporate Accounting Practice.
Fields brings more than 30 years of experience as a CFO, COO and business advisory consultant developing strategic tools for businesses in the distribution, food service, manufacturing, nonprofit, healthcare and retail industries. At Moore Colson, he will provide clients with financial, accounting and operational leadership.
Before joining Moore Colson in 2023, Fields was a director at one of the top 100 largest accounting firms in the Unites States, where he developed the strategy and successful implementation of the Atlanta-based Client Accounting and Advisory Services Practice. He has extensive experience supporting C-suite leadership in driving growth through enhancing the operational footprint, financial viability and sustainability of their companies.
Fields earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance degree from Mercer University. He currently serves as the chair of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)’s Client Advisory Services (CAS) Workgroup and is a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA) and the Rainmaker Companies CAS Workgroup Advisory Council.
