Moore Colson Senior Manager Shelly Bitter to Speak at the Acumatica Southeast User Group Conference

Moore Colson, an award-winning accounting, consulting, and advisory firm in Atlanta, announced Corporate Accounting Senior Manager Shelly Bitter will be speaking at the Acumatica Southeast User Group Conference on March 10, 2020, in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Acumatica User Group is a combination of regional user groups acting in concert to help Acumatica users connect with each other online and in person. It offers a critical opportunity for members to meet other Acumatica users, share ideas, create new friendships and drive business innovation. The Southeast Acumatica User Group conference will guide users on how to plan and execute Acumatica automation steps using e-commerce as an example.

Bitter will be the featured speaker for a session titled How to Organize your Automation Steps on March 10, 2020, from 2:00 to 2:30 pm. The session will cover the reasons why you should automate and what decisions to make before you start an automation project. Bitter provides over 20 years of operational, accounting and systems experience with expertise in a variety of accounting and ERP applications. Prior to joining Moore Colson, she was a co-founder, manager and consultant at a firm that leverages Citrix technology to deploy software solutions over the internet. Her roles included architecting solutions to consolidate accounting systems and build technical infrastructures for businesses using SAP Business One, Sage 100 and other software. She also has experience designing and deploying standard integrations between website and accounting systems, data mining and validation, automating workflows and project management. Bitter worked for Accenture as a consultant in the PeopleSoft Solutions Center of Excellence administering user security and developing custom financial and regulatory reports. In previous roles, she was the CRM administrator for a financial institution in Southfield, MI.

At Moore Colson, her primary responsibility is to provide support to Corporate Accounting clients wherever software expertise is required. Typical projects include system requirements analysis, software and vendor selection assistance, project management and report design. Bitter, a SAP Business One and Intacct Certified Consultant, has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Arts, a Bachelor of Art in Professional Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from Michigan State University.

The event is open to Acumatica User Group members only. Nonmembers may be invited by a partner to attend.
