Adam Bateman, CPA, is a Moore Colson Partner and the Tax Practice Area Leader. Adam specializes in tax compliance and planning for closely-held businesses and their owners. As Practice Area Leader, Adam is responsible for leading the firm’s tax team, managing department operations and working alongside the tax partner group to execute growth initiatives for the firm. As a Tax Partner, Adam continues to plan and organize engagements, maintain and expand client relations, and implement tax planning ideas.
Adam’s professional public accounting background includes serving clients in the construction, real estate and financial services industries. He has extensive experience working with high-net-worth individuals and their families, executing tax advisory for mergers and acquisitions, representing clients before the IRS and state tax authorities, and implementing tax and succession planning strategies for closely-held businesses.
