Moore Colson, the number one ranked Best of the Best CPA and advisory firm in the United States by Inside Public Accounting, recently announced the hiring of Laura Laszlo, CPA, as corporate accounting senior manager.
Laszlo joins Moore Colson with over 22 years of progressive accounting, consulting, and financial management experience. Prior to Moore Colson, Laszlo served as interim CFO at Visiting Nurse Health System, Inc., an at-home health care and hospice service provider in Atlanta, GA, where she was responsible for leading turnaround efforts, creating budget modeling specific to the health care industry, and the implementation of new technologies.
Laszlo also worked as a senior manager at Grant Thornton LLP where she led the Atlanta Assurance Health Care Practice while managing the audits for its health care clients. Laszlo held similar roles as a senior auditor and then assurance manager with Ernst & Young in addition to a manager role at Scientific Atlanta, Inc. in Lawrenceville, GA, where she performed the coordination, planning, and preparation of financial statements as well as the review of audit assignments for private, public, and non-profit companies in the health care and technology industries.
Laszlo received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Accounting from Concordia University Wisconsin and her master’s in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame. At Moore Colson, Laszlo’s responsibilities will include helping lead the Corporate Accounting Practice, nurturing client relationships, providing consultative advice, driving continued efficiencies, and developing the team while enabling the firm’s continued growth.
