Tracy Burton, CPA, is a Partner in Moore Colson’s Tax Practice Area and a member of the firm’s Real Estate Industry Group. Tracy focuses on tax compliance and planning for real estate funds and managers. She plans and organizes client engagements, develops tax strategies for clients, provides tax advisory and projections, develops and mentors staff, and monitors firm performance goals.
Tracy’s professional public accounting background includes more than 16 years of serving clients in the private equity and real estate industries, including the residential, industrial and commercial real estate sectors. She has extensive experience with tax structuring and compliance for REITs and navigating complex partnership tax issues. At Moore Colson, Tracy advises clients on federal, state and local tax planning strategies, compliance and reporting matters. She also has experience in transaction consulting.
Before joining Moore Colson in 2019, Tracy was a senior manager for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Atlanta, serving public and large private companies in the asset management and real estate industries.
