Chris Tierney, CTP, CFE, is a Partner and the Practice Area Leader for Moore Colson’s Restructuring and Dispute Advisory Practice Area. Chris has more than 35 years of experience providing financial, operational and strategic management, analysis and advice to domestic and international companies and their stakeholders. Chris is an expert at recognizing issues impacting a company’s future, crafting workable solutions and implementing them in a timely manner.
State and federal courts have appointed Chris as a trustee, receiver and examiner. Chris has managed dozens of businesses in various industries and situations as a trusted fiduciary or interim manager. He advises companies and creditors facing complex legal disputes, operational and financial issues, workouts, turnarounds and reorganizations, and liquidations. Chris also has extensive experience providing litigation support services, implementing fraud and forensic investigations, and providing expert and advisory witness testimony on various topics. Chris is a Registered Neutral with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution and trained as a Civil Mediator at the Kennesaw State University Center for Conflict Management, providing mediation and arbitration services on business matters.
Before joining Moore Colson, Chris worked as a Managing Director with Hays Financial Consulting and, before that, with Deloitte & Touche USA in their Financial Advisory Services Practice. Chris has 14 years of experience in the banking industry, managing middle-market relationships for public and private companies.
